Pierre Lépinoy is a Board Member of EuroDéfense-France. He is also a guest editorialist for the private think-tank iFRAP (Fondation pour la Recherche sur les Administrations et les Politiques publiques).
Pierre enjoyed a long and successful career with BNP Paribas before retiring in 2013. His last role was as Head of ALM & Treasury of BNP Paribas Securities Services, a large European fund administrator and depositary bank.
Prior to this position, Pierre was Head of ABS Risk and Portfolio Management within the Asset Securitisation Group in London between 2007 and 2011.
Prior to that, Pierre had several roles as Head of Loan Portfolio Management in Paris and New York between 1997 and 2007.
Earlier on, he was in charge of a proprietary equity portfolio in energy and natural resources for PAI Partners between 1986 and 1997 where he acted as non-executive director for 22 quoted and unquoted companies engaged in energy and mining, based in Europe, the US, Canada, Brazil and Gabon.
He started his career with BCEOM as a transportation economist and then at Gaz de France as a negotiator of international gas purchase and transportation contracts.
Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (Paris) and from ENSAE (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et l’Administration Économique). Pierre is a French citizen.
